Hi, I’m Joey

My parents’ separation and divorce brought a ton of pain and problems into my life. Searching for help, I was shocked by the lack of resources for young people from broken families.

And so, I started Restored to build resources for them. I’m not a psychologist or PhD. Instead, I offer:

  • ~20 years of finding solutions to the pain and problems from my parents’ breakup

  • 10+ years of mentorship

  • 7+ years of counseling

  • 5+ years of researching this topic and mentoring young people from broken families

  • Author, speaker, and podcast host of Restored: Helping Children of Divorce

  • Husband to Brigid and father to Lucy

I’ve spoken across the U.S. and abroad, including at Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ave Maria University, the Archdioceses of Denver and San Francisco, the Diocese of San Diego, FOCUS, and more. I’ve been a guest on Relevant Radio’s The Drew Mariani Show, EWTN’s Women Made New, and Jason Evert’s Lust is Boring podcast.

I’m the author of the book, It’s Not Your Fault: A Practical Guide to Navigating the Pain and Problems from Your Parents’ Divorce. My articles have been published by the Chastity Project, FOCUS, the Culture Project, and Shalom Tidings Magazine.
