Prepare Now to Build the Happy, Healthy Relationship & Marriage You Didn’t See Growing Up
Prepare now, while you’re single or dating, so you can avoid repeating your parents’ marriage and instead build the relationship and marriage you’ve always wanted.
This isn’t marriage prep. Marriage prep is last‑minute before the wedding. This is training in how to build love that you should’ve received at home, but didn’t.
Spots will be limited when we open enrollment.
New 6‑Week Program for Young Adults
Why Relationships Feel So Hard When You Didn’t See It Modeled
You grew up watching your parents’ marriage fall apart or drift along in a lot of dysfunction. If you were to get married one day, it feels like you’re being asked to build a house with no blueprint or training.
You might notice:
Marriage feels unattainable for you, like it works for other people but probably not for someone with your story
You’re terrified of becoming like your parents and don’t really know how to avoid repeating their marriage
Conflict freaks you out: you avoid it, shut down, or blow up, and even normal disagreements make you feel like the relationship is ending
You’ve had failed or unhealthy relationships, so now you move really slowly, love at arm’s length, or don’t try at all because it doesn’t feel safe
Part of you really wants marriage, and another part is terrified of choosing the wrong spouse
Underneath it all, you might feel incompetent at love, and just plain afraid.
You deserve better. You were never shown how to build love. This program is designed to finally give you that training.
What You’ll Walk Away With
By the end of the 6 weeks, you will not have a perfect relationship or guaranteed marriage. But you will have:
Confidence that marriage is not only attainable but a happy marriage is doable for you, not just for people from intact families
The fear of repeating your parents’ marriage replaced with a clear, hopeful plan to break that cycle
Practical habits for handling conflict in a healthier way, so you can stay connected instead of shutting down or exploding
You take good risks for love without feeling like you have to keep everyone at arm’s length just to stay safe
A short list of non-negotiables and red flags for choosing a future spouse, so you’re not paralyzed by the fear of “picking wrong”
Exercises to calm the anxiety that gets triggered in relationships, so you can move forward without feeling frozen
A hopeful, realistic vision that a strong, lasting marriage is possible for someone with your story, plus the first concrete steps to get there
The program is based on three sources: the real habits of happily married couples, ageless wisdom from the Church, and insights from psychological research and experts.
This 6‑week program is for you if most of these are true:
You’re a young adult (18-35 or so) from a divorced or highly dysfunctional family, and you know that story still affects how you do relationships
You’re single or dating, and you actually want to be married one day, even if it feels far off or scary
You can admit that you didn’t get good formation in love growing up, and you want practical guidance from people who’ve done it
You see unhealthy patterns in yourself, and you’re ready to work on them
You’re open to a Christian perspective on relationships and marriage, even if you’re still wrestling with parts of it
You’re willing to show up, be honest, and do some uncomfortable inner work (reflection, journaling, exercises) for the sake of a better future
This isn’t for people who want to stay on autopilot. It’s for those who are ready to take responsibility for their story and start building a better one.

“As a young man, I had no resources to help me through the devastating impact of my parents’ divorce. I highly recommend Restored to teen and adult children of divorce or dysfunction.”
Dr. Bob Schuchts
My parents separated when I was 11 and later divorced. It brought a lot of pain and confusion into my life, and for years I swore, “I will never get married.”
When I started dating, I felt incompetent at love and terrified of repeating my parents’ mistakes.
Today, I’ve been married 8 years to my wife, Brigid. We have 3 kids, and while marriage and fatherhood haven’t made life easier, they’ve made it far better. If I had let fear win, I would have missed all of that.
This program, built with our team and trusted experts, is designed to neutralize the fears you face in relationships and train you for love, so you can build the relationship and marriage you’ve always wanted.
